The official website of the Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) anime series revealed on Wednesday additional cast, opening theme song, and a promotional video for the Coleus no Yume (Coleus' Dream) original video animation. All three episodes are scheduled to release on November 1.
Takuma Terashima (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) is performing the opening theme "Hikari Hanatsu," which is previewed in the promotional video below.
Atsushi Nakayama (Absolute Duo) is returning to direct the anime at 8bit. Toshizou Nemoto (Log Horizon) is handling the series composition. Ryouma Ebata (Mahou Sensou) is the character designer. Hitoshi Fujima (Senki Zesshou Symphogear) is composing the music.
The original video animation adapts the story included in the bonus booklet of the second season's Blu-ray release. The story takes place between the first and second seasons, where Rimuru confronts the swirling conspiracies in the Coleus kingdom.
Fuse originally launched the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2013. Micro Magazine began publishing the series in May 2014, with illustrations by Mitz Vah. The 20th volume shipped in September 2022, and the 21st volume is scheduled for an October 30 release.
I was wondering where she came from, but now I see she appears in the movie (which I haven't watched, so I guess that's why I wouldn't recognize the character).
The locations and the places including the characters (Except only Violet) mentioned both in the movie and the upcoming OVA are not actually Canon in The LN

The movie is not actually Canon as it's an original story written by the author except the character mentioned above so Strictly Speaking, it's not really necessary to mandatorily watch it. Unless of course you are interested in knowing the character more so go for it.
Also if you are going to watch the OVA then I guess you kinda need to watch the movie.
RobertBobert said: @69S7B4A5A So, if she appears for the first time in a film, is it really needed to understand the plot?
I don't really understand your question but she is a prominent character in the LN so I think Yes as it kind of serves as a backstory which she didn't got in the LN
