Second Season of 'Ao no Hako' Announced

The 25th and final episode for Ao no Hako (Blue Box) ended with a second anime season announcement on Friday.
The first season produced by Telecom Animation Film began airing in Fall 2024. Netflix simulcasted the anime worldwide with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages.
The anime series adapts Kouji Miura's sports romance manga, which began serializing in Weekly Shounen Jump in April 2021. Shueisha published the 19th volume on March 4, with the 20th scheduled to ship on May 2.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in April 2021. The 14th volume went on sale on March 4, and the 15th is being released on May 6. Shueisha is also publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus website and app.

@RobertBobert yeah exactly, it really sucks to see a far better heroine get rejected (i mostly avoid them because of that)
love triangles have to be more creative and break the usual tropes, there is just no point of them if the winner is clear from the beginning
1. How do you know which Heroine is better if you haven’t seen the series?
2. You watched Furuba.
@JizzyHitler don’t bother, he only cares about his ships in fiction. In fact, he didn’t like Eren’s plan because he didn’t bang Mikasa. If he watched Ao no Hako, he'd call Chinatsu a disgusting violent tsundere bitch.

You know an anime have a nasty love triangle when the side heroine have more favorites than the main one
Cool, nobody asked.
@tragedydesu People often sympathize with the "side heroine" for obvious reasons, because their arcs tend to be given, understandably, more emotional depth and developmen
He hasn’t seen the anime btw, so he should keep quiet about his opinions.

@tragedydesu A good character with a satisfying character arc/direction is not something you only obtain by being the winning girl. Blue box handled it excellently if not better than just about any love triangle ive seen for making you deeply sympathetic for the losing girl but also making a pretty objective case for why she absolutly is not the right person. Blue box is just about the only anime i can think of where the girl I liked more getting rejected was a massive highlight and its cause the series weaponized the melancholy to its benefit.
