I loved Digimon as a kid. Recently I tried watching the first two seasons again, but they were completely unwatchable: as you went on there were so many evolution sequences that they could take up half an episode, the music was horrible and they just regurgitated the same songs every episode, there were no stakes of any kind. None of these things mattered when I was younger, but I couldn't ignore them now, and I just had to stop watching. It was completely on a whim that I took up Tamers after that, but I wasn't expecting much. As you can probably tell from the ...

I really loved this anime. I loved the original version too. They're very different stories after the first few episodes so if you're planning on watching either, I'd recommend you see both.

This is an amazingly beautifuly written manga.

The story is very simple: a girl called Saya travells in search of her fiancee who didn't return after a war he was fighting in ended, and finds that many things about him have changed. It's a simple setting, but the plot twist at the end, although sudden, is both impossible to predict and it doesn't seem out of place with the rest of the story. I'm usually wary about one-shots, but this story was really well thought through.
The art was really beautiful. None of it seemed in any way rushed. A definate ...
