I have a broad range of interests that traverse slice-of-life, comedic ensemble casts, psychological thrillers, and family dramas.

The single biggest through-line is my love for stories that offer emotional resonance and strong character arcs—whether they come in the form of a cozy comedy like K-On! or a dense mystery like Umineko.

I also appreciate when creators take risks in storytelling structure (e.g., meta elements, out-of-order narratives, or explorations of identity that tread into philosophical territory).

So, very much into lovable ensembles, genuine emotional depth, introspective journeys, and (often) a sprinkling of comedic relief alongside heavier themes. I tend to be very strict (10/10s haven't been handed out in almost five years), but I try to think deep about everything I watch and appreciate what I can.

I'm also a politically active anarchist, so expect me to be talking a lot about that stuff too. Abolish family, marriage, psychiatry, sex assignment, work, schooling.
