Started to watch anime in 2015 summer, and have watched around 500+ anime.

i rate anime based on how much i liked it at the time with how it connects to me and its re-watch value.

when i recommend i do not see the list as its a long process, just tell me if you have seen the anime or not, its simpler that way.

i also read visual novels so feel free to recommend those .

It varies wildly on what genre of visual novels you want, but I highly recommend the following:
- Umineko no naku koro ni
- 999/Virtue's Last Reward/Zero Time Dillemma
- Ever17
- Fate/Stay Night (be warned this one isn't as translated as well as I'd like and has massive explanations, especially in the first route)
- Little Busters
- Rewrite
- G-Senjou no Maou
- Lucid9 (this one is available for free on the creators' website or Steam)
- Tsukihime
- If My Heart Had Wings

As for where you can find VNs, it varies wildly; many are available legally on Steam, but most can be found as torrents on nyaa.si, though you'd have to look up any conditions you'd need to meet for your computer to run them at all.
