The stories have a similar feel to them. Both have a sweet love story and a bit of comedy involved. In both, the girls end up helping/saving/taming the boy.
A girl in love with a boy that acts like an animal. If you liked Fruits Basket for that original aspect, you'll probably like Beast Master too [also full of funny moments]

Reading Beast Master, I was reminded of Fruits Basket. Both of the mangas have an innocent feel to it. The two mangas also have character(s) where they turn into animals, or have an animal-like personality that they can't control. This makes people misunderstand them, and are believed to be freaks. So if you liked either one of them, you'll like the other!
