- Both manga have a sort of mystery feel where the MC discovers several "secret powers" that the other characters have.
- Both have high school settings that follow the characters until their graduation and have solid endings.

It has a similar off-kilter feel to it's romance and progression that while not all together similar, has a very similar vibe. Both are deeply flawed series that have such an impressive style to their stories that I can't help but love them.
