Both manga are pure comedy, with mostly static characters with one to a few defining traits.
Humor is mostly derived from the characters being put in new circumstances and seeing how they react.
The overarching plot is mostly in the background and is not important for the enjoyment of series.
Saiki Kusuo no ψ-nan main advantage compared to Aho Girl, is that the diversity of the funny situations Saiki Kusuo no ψ-nan puts it's characters in, is far larger compared to Aho Girl with the trade-off of being less grounded.
