Initially against this, he eventually comes to term with his powers, getting to know new friends and also discovering more about the magical enemies he is facing.
However it seems the manga was cut short. It is as if characters were given opportunities in the future to be fleshed out but this cancelled, ultimately leaving behind cardboard cutouts of characters. The story came to an abrupt end, but still managed to bring about a satisfactory end to a certain extent.
