I didn't really like the manga, so I dropped it quick. But the anime is very stunning on it's take on adolescence, and how serious it is at that age. The projection of the adolescence syndrome is very unique and relatable.....I loved how it touched on the feelings of having duplicitous emotions, wanting a do-over in life, self-mutilation/wanting to beat yourself up, and wanting to disappear.
Either way, this is a great show to touch on the current issues of not only today's youth but actually having your emotions mature at a fragile age and taking that step forward despite being afraid of society, and your right to be your own individual
