So I only got through about 125 pages of this series before deciding to call it quits. The story was ticking along fine, and the art was pretty good. But here's the deal-breaker – turns out the author's is pretty racist, which kind of threw me off, because the entire thing is supposed to be about bullying being bad. It's a shame because everything seemed promising until bam, chapter 125, one of the main character drops the N-word and, apparently, it's supposed to be a positive thing? Weird, right? Given this twist, I'm not sure where the story's headed, and honestly, it might not be worth the ride. Too bad, though – the potential was there.
