74 episodes of drama thats ends absolutely no where and was a giant waste of time.

MC beyond annoying.

Yeah i binge watched it all but it's not my fault it pretty much had nothing to offer.

They had us in the first half. Built up to be something unique and great. Ended in utter failure and mediocrity.

Boring, Uninspired waste of time.

The magic from S1, tried to repeat and just dragged on.

Had to force to finish just so I could see the much better 2nd Cour.

CGCT is a cancer on the industry and if you're a grown man watching this trash you need to re-evaluate life.

No you can't relate to this abomination. A cute little girls life can never equate to yours despite how "autistic"(whatever that means) this one may seem.

Why is this rated? Because every anime needs to do a long premiere to suck in the audience.

Worked pretty much for every anime that has done it.

After the opening it becomes Oshi no Mid.

The opening apart from the fact that it's 120 mins long might actually be the most unimpressive part of this show.

When ever a major plot point happens it's introduced in such a lackluster and unbelievable way it just makes the experience far too fake and cheap.

I'm so bored by the plotline and focus and characters who you couldn't bare to care about because their motivations are so brazenly stupid.

I really disliked this show, it did look very nice though i will admit.

I will give to the author between this and love and war he knows how to make a hit show despite how mediocre those shows are, of course excluding their great production.

Don't see the appeal of pointless teasing for 3-4 seasons. But then again I'm not the orthodox degen consuming this shit.

This stuff is for girls or something, drama after drama and nothing develops and the Male MC just get cucked and cucked again.

Kills the strongest assassin in the country in Episode 2 solo, it's supposed to be a show of strength progression/cultivation since there's several seasons of it. I don't think its an OPMC show otherwise what would be the point? It's just stupid for me i have nothing left to keep me watching. I'm not interested in major foes being defeated by plot armor. These authors are sick all you have to do is have the MC be saved by someone stronger and it's 10x more watchable.

After that don't care about the rest of it.

Not interesting enough to ignore the Crossdressing.

A show about learning to be an assasin, turns into a SoL fest with occasional crossdressing for Main characters.

I have zero tolerance for active crossdressing of the main characters.

I will instadrop every single show with an instance of this. I did quite like the first season but i'm sure it had some crossdressing too but i must have watched it 10 years ago.

A spy/assassin never! needs to crossdress, you can never be convincing as the opposite sex nor is it required. If they need a female just send a female spy/ assassin. It's just unequivocal the kind of efficacy of dressing up as your own sex does in these situations, crossdressing is a pathetic paid insert by degenerates to slowly lessen the social prohibition of such things and desensitize the youth.

I was hooked for 22 damn episodes then MC cross-dresses for no reason at all.

They had me in the first half.

Genuinely was a fun show, i thought it meet,to show your younger siblings or friends however out of no where for no good reason they do an idol routine with crossdressing, it feels like another degen paid insert by those that seek to subvert the youth.

Definitely not showing or recommending this to anyone.

First season was mid, the second managed to be worse.

Turn off your brain, the more you think the worse it gets.

To top it off, the ending was an utter wreck.

Why do people like this show? Because they can relate to it, they're that dumbass dog wolf simping for a bunny slut.

They won't admit this but they got a thing for anthromorphism something about those hairy animals in exaggerated human-like proportions makes em go crazy, they watch this with a semi.

Convoluted mess.

Danmachi author wanted to try something new, but ended up making new characters with the exact same character dynamics, it's feels so forced and out of place in this scenario. He's trying to go for the same magic but it's just utterly monotone in presentation and lifeless with an MC that lacks pretty much any and all character just a simp for the plot. Danmachi actually gave Bell Cranel, a real goal, tangible reasons and ideals which anyone could relate with. This william guy is just utterly foolish in his ideals and what he's doing at a magical academy without any magic aptitude just defeats the entire point of it.

It's an author trying to strike twice with the hits and set up his future, the masses are eating this shit up, but it was bordeline unwatchable for me. No amount of pretty lights and sequences will make me want to watch this. I dropped Mid Piece after 1000+ episodes there's no way the likes of this would make me take it to more than 3 episodes.

first 3 episodes felt like an advert for a series which it never could be.

Yeah, the production quality went down but it wasn't just that, it seems like it was never good in the first place with the development of the story. I wanted a smart and innovative way for these characters to get out of this desperate situation which no one has survived from. Instead of introducing deus ex machina through some divine savior so it makes narrative sense, but they decide to retcon a new power-system and have the MC just power up on the spot to beat literally god-like power. It's just brute force plot armor, boring and monotonous story telling and every thing which was introduced as a threat just ends up looking like a puppy by the end of it. If there's a massive powergap it can only be realistically overcome with lots of time spent training/building up or for a great foreign entity to come in and even the odds. This underestimating routine into underdog sponging into power of frendship one shot attack,(not even combined) is just boring. Only Fairy tail can make this routine fun and watchable since it's almost always a team effort. Someone who's never fought before is randomly strong enough to do what the strongest guys can't do. It's just a joke and it never stops.

The best potential characters killed off for effect, only to have the stuff that killed them get one shotted lackadaisically.

Just a shame, and the source is no better.

MAL is truly revolting now, the likes of people using this site have just cratered. Genuine trash makes it with 7.5+ scores all the time.

Frieren hailed as the Best show on here whilst having not even 1/10 the soul, world building and story telling talent of FMAB.

This is another example, a male female MC duo who appear to be mysterious and intelligent but end up just being a bunch of clowns playing a "farcical routine).

Murder mysteries that end up in boring, unresolved slop fests. Incredibly predictable and never satisfying.

Mabye it's a solid 6/10 show if i watch it for the entire 12 episodes. But i'm on Ep 3 and it's just more girls joining his group, the spiders understand him but can't talk back, it's just ludicrous and boring.


Where the guys at, adding more girls is such a huge copout so you just avoid writing with any tact or wisdom. Their hoping the fanservice will be enough to keep the horndogs going, instead of an acutally making a captivating story.

It's a mega harem and he hasn't slept with any of them yet so im just sitting here listening to annoying high pitched voices with the MC being a simp-cuck absoultely crucifying his situation. Mabye i'm suppoed to finish this, and he actually does something.

The farming? yeah it's practically abandoned by episode 3 so we can insert all the classic fantasy, save "insert princess here" for no personal benefit as he doesn't even get to own the princess he saves.

Yeah for now, no thanks.

Oh nevermind back to present and she Parkour somersalts off of 2 stories then anticipates and clashes swords with a top swordsman right out of a reset where she should have no such skills or physique.

Induce Mary Sue and a woman not using her greatest power which is influence of others through her own behaviour, but instead being a Mary Sue powerhouse that incurs zero consequence for utterly boisterous and proposterous behaviour. I dropped western garbage shows because of this, there's no way i let it slide here.

Wholly unwathcable trash, no writing skills or wisdom, zero tact about how long it actually takes, nor the measure of the journey required to acheive the level of skill for those great titles.

At this point these great errors in writing are not even good for children to consume. This genre is filled with the garbage, but this one is the worst yet.

Another overrated trash show on MAL.

1000+ episodes of me being brainwashed by ODA. A painfully average writer who's greatest skill is hype. Every Arc is the exact same formula without fail. Hype up and Arc, introduce several characters only of half of which receive any adepquate developemnt, then they do tournament style 1v1 matchups filled with plot armor to end the arc in utter mediocrity as several subplots abandoned, missing or retconned.

There's a massive lack of coherence and consistency, in favor of stylistic effect which just ruins the immersion. For example the riduculous sizing and scale of the different humanoid races, or the scale of the locations in the land or sea.

For a show about pirates, there's almost zero actual pirate behaviour from the main cast. I kept routing for the actual pirates, who end up jobbed or turned into fodder.

The MC also doesn't exist. The MC is a shell no real character, repeating the same words or phrases and his only development is to smile less. Just a tool to defeat big bad guy jobber of "insert island here" saving the princess etc.
There's no real tangible motivation or ideals. He also does the classic charge in against strongest character in verse and win out in the end tactic. It's so crazy they keep doing the same strategy of Strongest in verse, then job that guy for another stronger guy, job that guy repeat. You never know who is the strongest because they keep little bro'ing everyone. It's another technique Oda uses so his moronic sheep can argue about power levels all day bolstering the popularity of his garbage work.

Backstories, are similar, orphan this, orphan that, no family/hate family etc. Boring. These type of individuals almost never do anything great realistically so surely they get help from someone who isn't a complete bastard right? 1000+ eps and no.

Character interactions are generally laughable, before the timeskip(Pre-500) whilst mediocre some were quite interesting and quite fun like Paulie from Water 7 and usopp etc. But post time-skip is a complete and utter breakdown of any and all character interaction to gag-fests or situationally appropriate dialogue. There's no character development at all, it's the same boring tired routine but the masses just gobble it all up, begging for seconds. Characters like Usopp basically completely abandoned as the power scale goes through the roof. I mean he's in too deep and it shows, even the regular superfans are starting to be skeptical.

People will tell you to watch this show for animation, it was complete garbage for 900+ eps and after that It only consists of pretty vapid lightshows, past 900 episodes with about a handful of actually well choregraphed sequences which is pathetic for 150+ episodes. Solo leveling S1 had more in 12 episodes.

I haven't even begun to tell you about the techniques used to stall a 1 chapter per episode show. Genuinely different experience watching seasonals compared to this garbage. Just do a hiatus and give us filler or something it's not worth it watching a 30s punch or the repeated open mouth stills reaction for another 30s to that same punch.

If you are foolish enough to watch weekly like i did on and off after i binged like 600, please end your journey here, i say this for your own good.

Expected a decent nuanced, down to earth romance, yeah with a title like that of course that was a stupid expectation.

But it's even worse than i could imagine, it's a stupid lazy simpfest with comedy that didn't even move my lip.

And of course it's written by a woman.
