When Shinsekai Yori came out, A-1 was working on a lot of big anime titles like SAO and Magi, they didn't invest as much in SSY, so you'll notice the change in art style. But the anime still turned out to be stunning and well-writen. It deserves more hype honestly, i also really like the psychological side of it.

OMG I can't believe people rated this show so low, it was one of the best anime in like 300+ animes I have watched. The art reminds me a lot of Maquia.
