Victorian anime, gothic and not so
Anime
This stack is dedicated to a variety of anime, the events of which either directly take place in a Victorian setting, or emulate it in one way or another through (dark) steampunk or romantic aesthetics and philosophy. I also included shows with significant inspiration from Victorian history or literature. Given the setting, most of these anime are pretty gothic and sophisticated, but that wasn't the end in itself.
