Takes place after the final saga in Z/Kai & before battle of gods. Can be viewed as the 1st installment u watch, as the installment before the B.O.G movie or as the last installment before any new TV series for DB

If u run into an "ep. 98" I recommend DON'T watch it till AFTER u watch the very next entry below this. thx for consideration

Should watch it after Dragon Ball Kai episode 58

This is "ep 98" as stated before it's recommended u don't watch this before seein the prior installment jus above this 1

Make sure to watch the extended version wit 20 minutes of new material.

I highly recommend to watch ep 18 of Super before u do this movie. It sounds odd but pls do it.

Skip ep 1-27(it redoes the same movies before this but HORRIBLY wit some extra stuff u might like but isn't necessary)
Skip ep 42-46(if u want cus filler)
Skip ep 68-76(cus filler again tho I do rec 75-76 ngl)

Toriyama designed the new characters and told the Toei screenwriters of wut was guna happen, then they developed the events episode by episode. A manga version started publishin soon after, originally as advertisement for the anime.

This is the only 1 that I'd say is "optional" mainly due to the Broly movie creatin questionable canonicity but I still think it bears mentionin & highly recommend regardless. I'd say take the parts that don't contradict in ur head & jus take the rest as the same in both
