UPDATING, LIST NOWHERE NEAR COMPLETE + I NEED TO WRITE MORE DESCRIPTIONS, PM ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS, THANKS! I have probably read every yandere/stalker male lead manga/manwha out there so I am going to add them all here to make it easy for you to find. A lot of the descriptions I add include light/medium spoilers, and some of these I have not read in years so my memory of them is a little splotchy but as I reread and update things should become more clear. Some of these are not true yandere, just extremely possessive ML’s or there are a lot of scenes where ML displays yandere/psycho/posessive tendencies! Includes some BL + still updating the list. The title says it all, I can’t remember if they’re true siblings or step siblings but either way it’s definitely incestious so big warning on that! I am almost disappointed in myself for enjoying this one as much as I do, I would recommend the light novel over the manwha as it actually includes the entire story and a lot of scenes that are not in the manwha at all, the manwha waters the whole thing down imo so at least read fhe LN first. FL is reincarnated into ML’s little sister, she knows that in (I think his final year?) of high school he plans to lock his classmates inside the school and make them play a murder game in which everybody dies and he kills himself, she is the first person he kills. To avoid this fate she spends her life doing wacky things to entertain him even going as far as hurting herself for his amusement, because it is said in the manga that he hosts the murder game not just because he is psychotic by nature, but he is bored (lol.) This leads to the story developing much differently than the manga and he finds himself becoming enthralled with the idea of killing just her then eventually realizing he instead wants to own her. A little bit of a slow burn because it takes awhile for him to realize his true feelings, but totally worth it for all of the yandere crazy sh*t he does ultimately.

Since there isn’t any info for this on MAL and it’s ongoing this will contain spoilers, I will have to update this at a later point but for now I will write what I know for sure, I think this does fall under the “omegaverse” category but as I have said in other entries I am not too well versed on the genre, anyway in this world there are people who are shapeshifters of all sorts, FL is a red fox and ML is a tiger that is 1000 years old and reincarnated. FL is living on her own and she comes across a wounded tiger shapeshifter, FL has never seen a tiger and believes him to be a wildcat (otherwise she would have been afraid of him as a tiger is her natural predator) and takes him in and nurses him back to health, he turns into a human boy and she raises him for years (I think age also works very differently in this story they end up looking around the same age, 20 something) He hides the fact that he is a tiger and never shapeshifts around her so he can stay by her side, he fears she will abandon him if she finds out he originally plans to eat her when he gets bigger but becomes obsessed with her. She hears rumors of a tiger hunting the other prey in the forest and people begin to move out including her only (known) friend at this point, she also finds out he’s been planting herbs on her and around their house to hide her scent from not only others, but himself, because they are in heat (basically just really H word it seems). She obviously eventually finds out his true form and runs, he catches her and puts her (in fox form) in a bird cage he had prepared for this very moment. So far it’s really good I have high hopes for this one but we will see :3.

The ML is a minor high school student whereas the FL is his teacher so if that is something that bothers you, I wouldn’t recommend this one. ML has had an obsession with FL for 8 years, he was a small child and she was a teenager at the time, he transfers to the high school that she teaches at and starts pursuing her with intensity, he also plays a lot of mind games on her to try to persuade her into reciprocating his physical advances. At certain points he goes as far to break into her apartment and tie her up then proceeds to kiss her entire body repeating that he loves her for an entire night.

This one is really short so it’s hard to explain it without any spoilers. FL is dating ML’s twin brother, the 3 of them knew eachother since childhood but ML moves away, ML’s brother dies and he returns acting as if he is his deceased brother so f with her head, he blames FL for his twin brothers death. This grudge leads him to become entirely obsessed with making her life a living hell (I think internally he wants to own her from the beginning though.) He SA’s her a lot of times, in her home, at school to humilate her with the idea of being found out, around groups of their friends, screws with her head by pretending to be his deceased brother multiple times including right when he shows up and bringing out a lot of emotion from her then shattering her by doing something sadistic. He finds himself caring for her and punishes her for it but they both have moments of letting their inhibitions go and it seems like she actually really does want him around. Not a fan of the ending but I have read it a few times and think its worth a read if you like this genre, I will say the plot can be a little confusing though.

As she grows up she starts to attempt to become more independent (this starts because she thinks he has a girlfriend) and do more on her own, ML cannot stand it, even if she tried to do as much as tie her own shoes he would have a psychotic break. He breaks her down more & more so she will continue to rely on him, he says things like “You just have to realize how much you need me.” ML is a true yandere through and through, it’s a really good read so I can’t spoil too much. Only issue I have with it is he helped raise her so the age-gap is weird but if you don’t mind that you won’t have any issues.

While stalking her he contemplates approaching her many times but never does until he sees her get kidnapped, he allows himself to be hit by the vehicle which knocks out the driver then carries her to safety then leaving home to write in a journal he keeps about her. He has no problem humiliating or harming anybody he sees as a slight threat to FL. I’m pretty sure a stalker vs. stalker element arises but like I said I will have to update this after a reread!

I think most of us have read this but to quickly summarize what kind of a read this is, both characters are extremely toxic & mentally ill, this is a BL so if that isn’t your thing, skip it. Sangwoo is a murderous psychopath and Yoonbum is a stalker with borderline personality disorder, one day Yoonbum breaks into Sangwoos home after years of being secretly obsessed and in love with him, he goes down into his basement to find a girl tied up begging for help, Sangwoo comes home and finds this and breaks Yoonbums legs with a bat & won’t let him escape and from there they slowly blossom a sick romance where Sangwoo basically treats Yoonbum as an enslaved mother type, making him cook, etc. Sangwoo plays tons of mind games on Yoonbum who is susceptible to it because of his feelings for him, he uses his body however he pleases, makes him an accomplice in his murders, and eventually treats him as much like a boyfriend as he is capable (a possession.)

So I reread this one to give a proper description, this has not been updated in years I don’t think it will ever finish so I don’t really recommend it but I think you could guess the ending tbh. ML’s first line is something like “Make a decision, live alone forever, or die together with me, either way exactly one year from now at this very moment we will be together.” everyone who has ever asked FL out has mysteriously died or was seriously injured. ML claims he Is FL’s lover from the future, he wakes up with no memory surrounded by photographs of her and a notebook documenting what will happen in her life for the next year up to her being killed. He makes a huge song and dance about them being mean’t for eachother, there’s no either guy she could possibly end up with, etc. Almost everything he tells her is proven to be true as far as the story goes on, but as I said it is incomplete so the most enjoyment you can get out of this is a bunch of yandere/possessive moments without any well rounded story! Def something I would save to read when running out of other yandere stories and needing a fix. <3

ML is a vampire that becomes intrigued by FL’s attitude/fearlessness he forces her to bury a dead body then blackmails her with a photo of her in the act and makes her bring people to a location he gives her once a month (she’s a taxi driver.) As time passes and he learns more about her he begins seeking her out often, she befriends the vampire he lives with and the two of them plot against him at one point but it seems like they’re never capable of cutting ties or actually harming one another. They end up living together under circumstance and become closer, he starts feeding from her and becomes obsessed with her blood. She tries escaping him many times but always finds herself returning to him, both of them are heavily traumatized characters and theres a lot of push and pull between them because of it. He does a lot to show how much he really cares about her without even realizing he’s doing it, he pretends to be her wealthy boyfriend infront of her abusive family which makes them change their attitude towards her (lol). he is willing to sacrifice himself for her sake or even lose her for her own well being which I am not a big fan of personally but some how in this manwha I could understand it and it didn’t bother me as much as usual. I don’t know how to decribe this one since a lot of the obessive stuff happens further in so there are light-medium spoilers in this description, if you want to be surprised just read the site’s description of it. In the world of 340 days certain people have different traits such as being a “shut” which means they are well-liked by others and have one soulmate who they will go to extreme lengths to be with even if the other party doesnt feel the same (FL) and “destroy” which is someone who is attracted to violence and harming others, basically the undesirables of society (ML). FL sees ML when they are younger passing by eachother so she moves from England to Japan her senior year of high school, a lot of the beginning is her pursuing him with lovey-dovey “you are my soulmate, please be with me.” Type of energy whereas he acts quite coldly towards her, he slowly gives into her advances, has his bodyguard watching her 24/7 to “protect her” (I think half of the reason is because he wants to know everything she does.) As they get closer it is revealed that he wants to lock her up and keep her to himself but has been holding back, he wants to commit violent acts against her and even kill her, when she realizes this she accepts him and tells him not to hold back leading to the decline of her social life and broken ribs, r*pe, etc. After that their relationship becomes imbalanced and she feels that she is the only one who 24/7 has to deal with this dark side of him but she of course overlooks it and they work on their relationship, the dynamic changes like 3 times lol. I think it’s a good read if you like the violent type of possessive ML not a reread for me though because the most yandere thoughts he has he holds back imo. Art style changes IMMENSELY so keep that in mind, its kind of rough at first.

I really wanna say good things about this one, it reminds me of a shoujo I would read when I was younger because of the art style and it is fluffier than most things I read, I can’t bring myself to finish it for this reason (I will update this when I do finish.) Once ML and FL end up together a lot of the elements I enjoyed about it seem to die out a little, he never stops being possessive and perhaps there are more moments that would change my mind and I should just finish it we will see! FL is the only one who can see demons besides ML who is a powerful yokai himself, who she barely remembers from childhood, they reconnect when she turns 16 because he moves next door, she is attacked by a demon and is saved by ML who tells her that her blood is special and she can either die or become his wife. She chooses the latter and comes to realize he has always been in love with her and begins to return his feelings. I don’t really feel like he is a true yandere he is just really possessive of her, yeah a little fluffy for me but if you like that kind of thing give it a go!

Probably the darkest one on the list, if you don’t do well with gore or gross themes you won’t enjoy this one at all. ML is extremely twisted, kidnaps FL and abuses her in every way imaginable, about half way in the story twists and you see a different side of him which some may not like but to me it was cute in its own really gross way and it rounds out the plot and gives you insight on both of their behaviors. All of the characters are really messed up.

Probably the fluffiest manga I will be adding to this list, does not fall under the yandere category but there are manyyy instances in which ML tries to claim ownership over FL or shows intense jealousy, such as putting his “scent” on ML so other shapeshifters will smell him on her (lol, I think this might fall under “omegaverse” but I don’t know too much about that genre yet.) ML comes through FL’s window as a cat, he is a shapeshifter who only becomes human when kissed by any living creature and vice-versa. FL ends up kissing ML as a cat and he turns into a naked human that goes to the same school as her, she gets really flustered and from that point on he doesn’t leave her side and dubs her “his owner” but it usually feels like the other way around. He gets jealous over EVERYTHING, won’t even allow her to pet other animals, he uses a lot of manipulation tactics on her to monopolize her attention, definitely more on the cute side but I wouldn’t overlook this manga if you are just looking for an attractive stoic ML who only shows that type of over the top attention to FL!

Honestly, the ending makes it almost feel like a waste of time but I enjoyed some parts of it so much I can’t hate it. FL is married to an abusive cheater, one day she goes down into the basement and finds a child who’s locked in a cage, she gets too close and he grabs her and sucks her blood, he then turns into an adult (vampire) from then on they start having an affair and he breaks the lock on his cage and comes to see her at night, he contemplates killing her husband, asks her to run away with him, is entirely distraught if they are apart for any amount of time. He only wants to suck her blood after hes tasted it and she is described as his soulmate. He is really possessive of her, at one point she’s bathing with her friend and he comes in, gives her friend an incredibly evil glare, then carries her naked to their room, she starts taking pills to slowly become like him and he tells her that he is enough for her and can’t drink anyone else’s blood. Theres a ton of moments like that throughout, I would only read this if you are running out of manga/manwha of this genre because genuinely the ending is so irritating and feels forced.

I highly recommend this one, the ML goes absolutely psychotic for FL, there is a fantasy aspect where ML can lucid dream and go into other peoples dreams or be present and affect real life people while invisible when he is asleep. It starts with the leads accidentally sharing a dream and they begin to plot to save FL from being bullied at school. After they meet in real life he never wants to leave her side is always texting/calling, walks her to and from school and waits in a cafe messaging her during school, scares everybody away from her (has the hottest yandere look x_x). Saves her from being bullied and makes her popular by helping her blackmail her bullies and pretending to be her boyfriend, gives her everything she originally desired. His thoughts are absolutely unhinged & he pledges to use his life to make her happy and will do anything to have her. There’s a second ML that FL originally liked and ML is always getting between them and intimidating him, he goes as far as to go through her phone, delete his contact, and change his own contact name to something like “ML’s name, my entire milkyway” he can be really cheesy LOL, he is an ex idol after all. If you like yandere men, you’ll love ML so definitely give it a try!
