16 manga to read in 2025 (+ 3 bonuses)

so i have an issue - the more i build up a manga in my head, the more trouble i have actually sitting down and starting to read it. because of that i end up reading a lot of obscure manga, but hardly any popular ones in comparison. additionally, if the manga is of a genre i rarely read, it also makes it harder for me to start it. this stack was created to help me get to them by putting myself on blast on internet.
rules are:
- this will be a yearly thing; any manga that are leftover by the end of the year will be in the next year's stack
- bonus manga are manga i can read instead of any chosen 16 manga for whatever reason that i really don't want to read them - be it that i want to wait more before reading, i am really not in the mood, etc.
- the order of manga is random, besides the fact that the first 16 are THE 16 and the last 3 are bonuses
