Prob most underrated anime of all time. Starts out with a crazy hard ecchi scene that makes most drop the show, keep on it for one of the best animated and most well-produced shows of all time.

Another with lower than should be rating. If you have the investment money to hire RZA!!!! as your intro theme song artist, you can tell they knew this would hit hard, and it does. Only real takeaway that keeps people away from the show is the excessive ecchi, but the stupidly animated action more than makes up for it.

First (in my opinion) good anime with CGI, the story is on crack and makes you feel like you're on it as you watch. Trust and this show will literally make your year.

Really creative approach to the "SAO" trope, but they actually incorporated some good themes and moments into the show a bit after the start. Doesn't start or end the best explains the rating but the middle is peak.

Another underrated CGI anime. Their animation sucked literal ass until the end of the second episode, where the MC's kinda "stand" ability just cooked some people chasing him. Stick with the show a bit longer to see how easily people's morals can be changed by just their environment and a bitta cash, even later on how people rebel. 9/11 scene 10/10.

First episode is a movie with crazy bad ecchi, get past that for some of the most fun action on the market!! Just do yourself a favor and drop the show before the last 2 episodes.

Please understand me when I say this show is good, not for the animation, and I still watch it. The comedy goes hard and the english voice actor for the MC just makes the show.

Chinese Anime, gotta deal with these ching-chong-ass subtitles when I watched it, but there's a dub now so you can go with your fellow gweilos. Like if One Punch man smoked a lotta weed and shat out this show. Comedy goes hard, just later on they turn it into an otome game.

First kinda anime set in WWI, or any war for that matter, I've seen that can get the audience literally hyped for the warcrimes the MC's committing.

Chill short anime about booksellers.

Like if ADHD was a person, it would all of the MC's in this show. Its just funny watching the stupid stuff they do in the short time alloted.

Heavy ecchi, don't let that fool you that this show is some mid regular NPC-Japanese male's fever dream, it's more if you let it. The intro by Masayoshi Oishi makes the show, but the MC being a smartass and beating everyone make it more.

First good claymation anime, voice actor for the main lead is the funniest man on Earth & the retarded stuff he goes through make the show even funnier.

Chinese bing-ching, animation cooks.

Heavy ecchi, regardless amazing show. Theme songs made it & stories it covers go peak.

Basically if Konami tried to make Yu-Gi-Oh good again, and did the best job of all time. Probably one of the best card-game animes I've seen. Intro prob the best I've heard in a while.

Ching-ding-ding-dong. Just average life of a rando girl who has to deal with the bs of turning everything around her into sentient beings.

Reverse Power Rangers anime. Villain is the MC and is the smartest person of all time.

Underrated CGI, really well put together rom-com, though ends in a train wreck.

First good DC anime. Watch the dub and you will love life again.

First parenting anime.

Seems like regular isekai with ecchi at the start, but past that the suicidal MC just goes around the world and confronts problems that can hit way too close to home at times. Gave me Cowboy Bebop vibes suprisingly with how close the MC walked that line of death and how real everyone's suffering was. Somehow wraps all that up in amazing comedy.

Really good short rom-com by Bones. Flips MajouShoujou genre on its head, just a lil heavy ecchi.

Anime that asks questions about war, in an isekai setting as always but still hits a bit. "What if I sent my fighter plane to go nuke this isekai country's capitol"-esc thinking and funny for it for a bit.

Seems like every "Boy goes to all girls school" trope at first, but then the MC just trolls everyone. English voice actor for the MC made the show.

Guy gets diagnosed with a brain tumor & said he has a year to live. He decides to spend his time fishing. Show kind just covers depression and trying to fish, really fun fishing scenes.

Basically just questions your entire methodology of thinking in 12 episodes. Regular show

Asks what you would do to defend what you believe in. Asks a lot more, but I'll leave that to the metacritics. Piece of art, animation hits harder than falling off a 200ft cliff.

Prob first ever isekai where they go over actual things that businessmen and diplomats do to acheive their goals. Really fun watch. (BTW they literally got rights to Mayonaka no Door - Stay With Me to play in the background!!!!! Kinda tells how much effort they put in this)

First real good doctor/ dectective show that covers real medical problems with astounding accuracy.

Braindead, excessive ecchi, but I love to hate it while hating to love it as much as I do. Camera angles and characters will literally make you neurodivergent, but the intro, actions scenes at the start and "Kappou!" just hooked me. If you're gonna watch it, watch it while reading the ANN review (https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/momentary-lily/episodes-1-3/.220129) it's probably the most fun I've had with any thing about an anime that isn't watching the anime itself, the author literally creates an entire story just to meme the show.

Really funny rom-com semi-educational anime about Okinawa. It helps a bit to know a little bit of Japanese before approaching this show, but with none its still fine.

Puts you into this batshit crazy world like skydiving into the Marianna Trench. Zero trash prep, cero nadadada, its up to you to understand these characters along with the world and they're not just gonna leave you a text box of info, they're gonna spill it to you on the screen like actual human beings.

Parap, parap, PaRAP!!!!. I would like you to try and guess as to why I put a ping-pong anime on this list. Hmmmm... maybe ping pong ching chong? Yes. There are chinese speak in this anime. Hmmmm... play tenis you? No, I'm too retarded to play tenis.
For many people when they see a sports anime--ESPECIALLY, they just decide not to watch it because there's so much trash old ass sport animes out there that -contaminate- the pool to the point it turns yellow with their piss. This show feels like taking a step out of that pool. This show feels like walking on water into a lucid dream. This show FEELS like IT IS THE SHIT!!!!!! The music (Chainsaw man background creator), the animation (wonky as hell, but for crazy sakura), the incredibly meticulous slow-fast-slow-fast pacing!! (Incredible now, but for the time??!!). This show feels like being carpet bombed by the animation studio and director's pure will on screen, and I'm better for it.

If you've seen, you know it's goated. If you haven't seen, the first recommended procedure is to find your nearest plastic restraint, attach it around your ankle and chair leg, then watch this masterpiece until your eyes start bleeding. The seamless transition and integration of Western Hip-Hop culture with Japanese tradition just puts you there, and if that's not enough lemme quick jump you with non-stop crazy-ass fight scences taken straight outta Cowboy Bebop x 3.

Life feelin kinda dull ainit? Running at first, walking, then a sluggish drag as all this bs be liftin itself outta the concrete atcha. MC pops up in this, goin on that annunciated path, then finds a mf playing hardcore rock, in her preppy private school no less! Finding that deliberate road, she goes in there & finds herself jammin to the dopest guitar shit I've heard in a long time. Putting this with Girls' Band Cry doesn't even get close to how hard the end of the first episode hit. You be thinkin at first this some shoujo ass garbage but it KIIILLLLLSS!!!!!, give it a chance and it'll kill that dull in you

Wonky ass sci-fi mystery. Animation might not be cookin the entire time but for the sequences that need it, they get it. The mystery is fun, and the unecessary lil bits added to the show really show how much effort the directors put in.

Well, we got Blue Box crossin sports with rom-com & Dandadan crossin sci-fi-action with the same, so it kinda seems the industry is falling toward overlapping genres for more appeal. This show kinda got that, but it, if one thing, doesn't feel forced in the slightest. Really chill mystery set early on with the amount of loose threads the audience is wrapped in, but comforts that with some pretty nice rom-com.

Shaft. If you don't know the studio go to a psychologist. New approach for the studio compared to what they've done before, got that Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan vibe but Monogatari-esc. Comedy hits, and all the direction is focused on that.

"Who here dislikes CGI?": "Me! Me! ME!" the crowd cheered, though the instructor quickly admonished, "Well you see, that might be justified--but then why tf are you watching Poco n a trash lion king remake rn?", breaking breifly, "y'all retarded?". CGI got that bad rep from Failure Frame and trash budget shows tryna be quirky but we've recently been seein good merging of it and handdrawn, this show being probably one of the best examples. The characters are "moving", not combined still-frames, they "interact", not touch, they "feel", not be. If you want a good show, with good comedy this season I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel's service.

Basically autistic ESP girl crashes into yakuza home & the dumb shit they get up to. You like, "ok so that's it?", no, the author takes the first step, "lemme just make this middle school student accidentally become a bartender", "lemme just make these kids unjustifiably think their teacher is a pedo", "lemme just make this rando girl become homeless & forced to scrounge for trash cause I feel like it -teehee-", all these lil experiences kinda boom the story, just crashin into one another innit. Wholesome, furfilling, prob one of the funniest shows ive seen, go shee.
