The anime is about a couple of kids in the future living on a space station that go back in time though robots in order to capture the dna of various prehistoric life forms in order to save a dying earth. It does not focus on the mundane life of said kids. There are also facts about said prehistoric life throughout the show and educational segments featuring a real life professor of prehistory at the end of each episode.

Only difference is that it focuses on a different era of pre-history and the overdubbed professor is gone from the educational segments.

While Okko's Inn does have comedic moments, it is moreso focused on its dramatic elements and has too focused of a storyline to be considered slice of life.

While it’s true that School Live! does revolve around the characters who are at school with their daily lives, it’s essential to consider the overall tone or style as well because the series has a darker tone unlike typical slice of life that also revolve around characters in their daily lives but in a mundane, energetic, complex, ordinary, lighthearted, or regular way. Additionally, School Live! includes emotional, confliction, dramatic, suspenseful, dark, and psychological moments throughout the series plus it explores heavy and deeper themes such as mental illness, tragedy, melancholy, orphans, depression, and horror etc which makes makes it a noticeable example of the drama genre and a more appropriate tag for the series.

If we were to go by the current definition of slice of life this anime do not fit as it has an overarching plot with a clear ending. There is also a lot of drama and conflict in the anime, which again would disqualify it as Slice of Life according to the definition on this site and put it more in the Drama category.

Genre restrictions and while it’s true that it revolves around the everyday character lives, the narrative within the Dr Slump series relies more heavily on comedic moments, interactions, and humorous scenes throughout the series, so it is thus warranted to remove the slice of life tag. Additionally, Dr Slump is a parody anime because it is a work of satire and has it’s inclusion of humorous or comedic scenes as noted above plus it also uses parody references to many shounen anime such as DBZ whatsoever. For example, they were both created by the same creator, Akira Toriyama, and it’s also worth noting that it features many of it’s random content in multiple episodes such as the obvious inclusion of Shenlong. Dr Slump also includes moments wheee characters are in their daily school life throughout the series such as the characters interactions and friendships within the school theme.

This short is about a woman that deals with the dilemma of whether she should break up or not with her boyfriend, the whole short is focused on that. The description literally states "This is a romantic comedy[...]" as well.

The series shows the daily life of 3 students who are Gals. However, it prioritizes comic moments more than anything, such as the confrontation between the Gals of Shibuya and Ikebukuro or, also, the Ganguro students. Furthermore, what reinforces the theory is that a flying ganguro always appears, adding touches of humor, like the following example:

While Saki does revolve around the daily lives of characters playing a (majhong) board game, it still has a tone that may be a bit more fitting for the comedy genre as it includes many lighthearted, playful, cheerful, and funny scenes throughout the show. Therefore, it should have the comedy tag added instead.

With Slice of Life and Romance being incomptable, Slice of Life should be removed from this series. While there are supernatural elements in the series, there is not enough emphasis on them to fit the 70 to 80% rule. Educational should be added since the series is intented to provide education of puberty and interpersonal relationships at a young age.
