This anime is a titan of trans representation. Hibari is one of the best trans characters of all time and when the show is focused on being a romcom it shines. Unfortunately this show has a regular problem with cultural insensitivity and pacing but it is a must watch for trans anime culture

While Ranma is not explicitly transfem identifying they're very transfeminized by the show and it's audience. It is impossible to under rate how much this show effected trans culture and anime as a whole, must watch.
