| Getting out of the school environment sounds like a solid idea. Especially for this episode, we got a shopping trip for the main cast. Erika getting teased by her friends while eating was adorable. Honestly though, I really like the overall chemsitry of the cast, in particular this episode. Everyone looked out after another during that shopping spree. |

| Everyone in casual attire… well we haven’t seen much of this I suppose. Also good for them hanging out once in a while, that sure helped them knowing a bit more about each other. Well we can’t have an episode without Akebi stealing the spotlight, can we? Sure we had the same towards the end. |

| I dont know anything about the mangaka, but i can tell that person knows a thing or two about the way of dressing up. I like the casual stylish way the characters looked in this episode. |

| That was really fun to see them having fun outside of school this time (and with casual clothes) fortunately they managed to save the bookmark, and it's also heartwarming to see that they can still keep having fun under the rain xD probably the best episode so far in my opinion |

| The athletic festival is coming...but first, time to get supplies. It's nice to see the girls in their regular clothing, something that reflects their current culture, and Akebi, Erika, Touko and Tomono look good in their respective casual clothing while shopping for things used for the athletic festival and just lazing around, spending time between classmates. Everyone has a preference when shopping for stuff, and showcase their quirks with each other, as such with Tomono on her love for books, and Erika haven't really tried a hamburger before to show her cutesy side. Friendship bands/bracelets...ah, that's school life when everyone wears one for good luck. From one situation to another, Tomono's favourite bookmark goes missing, and the girls attempt a thorough search around the gigantic mall. It's just disheartening to see Tomono's sad face...until they saw the bookmark attached to the balloon for easy recognition (and whoever did that was a genius). It barely flew away, along with the memories of her past life, and it's heartening to see that the 3 girls help Tomono to get it from the tree, even more ingenious that Akebi thought of doing a mock calvary fashion. Akebi's really a kid playing in the rain, and others follow suit just for this moment for fun. A "happily ever after" slice-of-life story in the mall and passing shower, hope you enjoyed it girls. |

| Akebi way of thought is kinda stressful if you think about it. She studied the mall to lead the group, and got a little frustrated when Usagihara knew more about accessories. That pressure on herself could be bad, just saying. The only part that bothered me was Kojou with that tote bag risking getting the book and bookmark wet, just after finding it. |

| The 1-2 punch of Sono bisque and Akebi on Saturdays never ceases to amaze me. Another phenomenal episode of Akebi, what really impresses me the most about these eps is how the most basic and mundane activities are made to look so interesting and fun lol. The girls hanging out at the mall was great. |

| Tomono's really engrossed in her book huh. But at least they didn't miss their stop. The mall that they went too really was pretty well equipped though. Im curious though at how Erika hasn't had hamburgers before though. Losing something that you have been using for ages is always a horrible feeling. But the girls working together to allow Tomono to retrieve her bookmark really was heartwarming as well as showing the strong bonds of friendship that lay between them. Overall a fun and hearwarming ep that showed the girls enjoying their day out while forging ever stronger bonds with each other. When the time comes Akebi is always there to make the best call huh. |

| Enjoyed what i saw as an anime only but then i found the short yet mesmerizing manga versión of the girls running in the rain + the whole swimsuit part + how the mangaka draws water and light, was waaay better in the manga. (i mean the anime changed and kind of "expanded" the whole thing and its good but it feels wrong when i compare both) Don't get me wrong this was a beautiful & more meaningful episode in contrast to the manga but BEACUSE cloverworks changed a lot of stuff & tried to make it more wholesome... i feel like at least the running in the rain was a 10/10 IN the manga while in the anime it was just 7.5/10 in comparsion. ultimately my comment meas nothing but... it kind of hurts since this is the first time this anime kind of disappointed me (in retrospective, since i first watched the episode, really liked it and then checked the manga version of the things that lead towards the shopping) |

| Great episode! Hojou san lost her pressed flower bookmark and everyone looks for it. Erika getting teased whilst eating the hamburger was funny xD. She seems to be pretty upset about looking for that bookmark since her mother made it for her but as she decides to stop looking for it, she finds it attached to a balloon! BUT THE BALLOON FLIES AWAY! The tree stops it from flying in the sky luckily and Akebi lets Kojou climb on her back to try retrieve it and in the end, everyone works together to push her up... And she finally grabs it after another attempt! Looking forward to the next episode! |

| I would say this was my favourite episode of this anime so far, I was surprised by how much I liked it. I predicted she was going to lose that bookmark and I guess I was right, but I didn't expect that balloon to fly away after they found it. |

| Flustered Erika is so cute! Beautiful episode as always. It was lovely to see Akebi and her closest friends hanging out at the mall while also using the chance to get to know each other better. And they all looked so stylish too. Absolutely loved their casual outfits. |
| A nice mall outing this episode, love to see the 4 girls from the promotional art together for an episode and in causal outfits, and there were a lot of great moments, Kojou especially stole the show with her love for books, I can definitely understand that kind of passion when you talk about something you love, and the Erika burger moment was hilarious, it reminded me of a scene from the show “Maria-sama ga Miteru” because she didn’t know how to eat one lol, and the final bit where they saved Kojou’s bookmark and goofed around in the rain was great, awesome way to end the episode. But man, when her bookmark was floating away and they showed her childhood, that was good. I’m glad tree-kun had our backs because I was not ready to see Kojou’s soul leave her body lol. |

| WHOLESOME WHOLESOME WHOLESOME WHOLESOME WHOLESOME WHOLESOME Best episode till now, this episode wasn't just wholesome at some parts but complete episode was so goddamn wholesome. Loved this episode, upgraded my rating from 9->10 after this episode. My serotonin after watching this episode:  Kojou was so absorbed in her book lol, it was fun seeing Akebi quitely sit beside Kojou trying not to disturb her. The girls went to the mall for shopping for athletic festival. The scene where they were exchanging Kawai's was so wholesome. The whole shopping part was very enjoyable to watch. The part where Erika is indulging in her hamburger and the others just stare at her and she goes red was hilarious. All the expressions were done so well in this episode. We witnessed quite a bit of various expressions in this episode, I mean more than usual. This episode really went from wholeosme and light-heated to tense and kind of melancholic real quick, felt bad for Kojou when they didn't find the bookmark anywhere in the mall or in the bus but then some kind hooman saved the bookmark for her. Man, they played too much with our Kokoro's in this episode, first we were sad that Kojou's bookmark was lost then relieved and happy that they found it then the balloon to which it was tied flies away and then our hearts sink again but then the balloon gets stuck in a tree, damn bro. It was nice to see the girls help Kojou in retrieving the balloon, though for a second I thought Akebi would climb the goddamn tree lol, I mean I wouldn't have been surprised if she just climbed the tree like a monkey and retrieved the balloon xDDDDDD. It was cute how Akebi just started playing in the rain and how other girls joined her as well, those scenes when they were playing in the rain and checking out various flora and fauna were really well done, looked beautiful. IDK why but I LOL'd so hard at the "Guess it was just a passing shower, huh?" They even got to see the pipe organ sky from the picture at the mall bookstore. Very wholesome group of girls, loved watching them in a setting other than school or club. It's fucking sad that only 3 episodes are left, I'm not ready to stop watching this weekly. Only good things come to an end I guess lmao. We gotta appreciate Cloverworks this season, they are working on three animes this season and two of them are absolute bangers in terms of everything, the animation quality in Sono Bisque nor Akebi dropped in even a single episode (well at least for me), Tokyo 24-ku took some hit but that anime is nothing compared to the other two. Seriously great job Cloverworks in maintaining the quality with three animes on their plate. Well anyway, got tons of wallpapers from this episode[34], here's the link to the album if anyone is interested. 6/5 episode. Can't wait for next week. |

| Man, that was such a nice comfy episode, reminded me of going to malls with friends. Haven't been able to do that for 2 years now, since the pandemic started. Godbless that tree for saving the bookmark. The bookmark was saved, plus they got training for the sports festival lmao, 2 birds with one stone. Them looking at Erika eating a burger for the first time was super adorable. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

But, luckily she had her friends who helped her find it out. Shout out to all three of them. Kojou was really happy. That's cute. This show is so wholesome. |

| Oh boy, here i am watching them shopping, and its sure don't miss all the soothness since the bookworm girl also around. When Akebi devoted herself to be a guide, there's always someone who know more, and Erika sure watching every inch of Akebi movement. Wait until Erika amazed about hamburger and then reddened when everyone looking at her enjoying the meal by herself. Cute... Its good to know more about Kojou-chan. I can't help but relate when she said, reading and writing them were completely different. So she need something different too as a new pushover. Coincidentally, little drama occured with the tidy little flower petal bookmark. Its lost. Wonder whose a kind soul behind those red balloon scheme. Already down with her feeling which just flied away, lucky that one tree manage to held it up, while Akebi surely had an idea how to retrieve the bookmark with style. Nice catch! And a high quality frame to cap too! So that's it. The bookworm girl wanna write the book based on Akebi-chan character. Author self-inserted character there detected xd. Akebi-chan really didn't lose much energy, and just dance under the shower rain. Until the ladder of lights showed up, everything just way too soothing.... Alright, next! |

| Ah this anime keeps coming up schemes to kill my heart softly with sakuga. And this episode added a new level on the tried-and-true concept of the power of FRIENDSHIP. Akebi, Tomono, Erika, and Touko on a girls hangout at the mall, and it surely is fun. But special POV on this episode was on Tomono, the bookworm of Class 1-3. And yo did I almost cry because of a bookmark, I think I did. That bookmark really meant a lot to her, and with the power of FRIENDSHIP, they overcame the challenge and Tomono got her bookmark back after almost being lost to oblivion. What strikes me beautiful is Akebi attracting the 3 other girls to go wild in the rain, and man it is such a nostalgic scene when me and the boys were doing it as well all those years ago. And though the rain was just a passing shower, what passed was a great spectacle of sunlight, something to ponder about. Great episode, and though it's rare for me to do this since I take A LOT of Akebi screenshots, there's actually a Horimiya reference while our 4 girls are in the mall. It's beautiful Hori, the true best girl Sakura, and what seems like our boy Akane. Pretty cool tidbit I got to somehow notice in an Akebi episode. Oh yeah and Sakura is the true best girl on Horimiya, no one's gonna make me say--- Screenshot counter for this episode: 52....yeah this episode is rlly great. |
