Opinion on Adolla bursts?

Like bankai/super saiyan/sage mode/demon mode - etc

It doesn't seem to power up the characters that use it all that much, but it's so revered in the show?

Idk, it seemed a little cheap to me. Like the author thought "how do I make fire seem... more interesting, ah yes, super fire!"
