How do you express your love for the medium?

So recently a profile I follow on Twitter shared a post with a ten second excerpt from the High School DxD ending (https://sakugabooru.com/post/show/199278) with the description "They don't make anime like this much anymore", with he himself adding "Is it normal to look at this and love it just because of it's aesthetic? I'm being serious, I find it visually beautiful".

So I took to opportunity to talk about it: Talked about rumors on the production of that ED, talked about it's artstyle and the reasons that led to it's change in later seasons, talked about the condition of ecchi, etc.
It eventually led to us talking about Studio Passione, Animation Director & Character Designer (And doujinka in their free time) Uno Makoto, among other things.

That made me realize: Damn, I really love this medium, huh? And I feel that the way I express my love for it is by talking about it, and I constantly feel frustrated when I can't find other people doing the same. If there are people "Who like to hear themselves talk", then I'm someone "Who likes to read themselves type".

How about you, how do you express your love for it?

I usually wear t-shirts and hats from my favorite anime series to express my love for them. I have even met fellow anime fans by chance randomly at the malls and whatnot because of it.

Simply just by still consuming Anime to this day. I don't need to really express it much anymore other than still supporting the industry by collecting Anime still on Official Physical Media and paying to watch it streaming on Official platforms. Even back in the early 90s going to Animation festivals being held at places like the Cleveland Institute of Art offering a slew of Anime films to going to Anime Expos in the mid 90s even all the way across the country in a place like Anaheim California once.

Other than that I simply just share Anime with real life friends and they share the stuff they love too, sometimes even getting me into stuff I wasn't initially interested in before. Hell even my Wife got me into a few Shoujo Anime back in the 2000s when I had extremely little to no interest in Shoujo Romance when I was in my 20s.

I express myself online more than I do IRL. Online I chat and discuss anime with friends, blog about it, post about it, remix songs from anime, write about it, and so on. IRL I'm much more private, I'll wear an anime shirt and/or hat, and listen to anime music (usually soundtracks) on my portable speaker, but I actively try to avoid conversing with people about it. Rarely something I'm wearing gets recognized, but it never leads to conversation, I just say "thanks" and move on.

Why I like blogging and attempts at discussing anime online, I'm too much of a socially anxious introvert for IRL conversations, but I do my best online since it's fun talking about these things.

How? By being active on this forum, and defending important aspects of the medium, especially sexual themes.

My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

I display my manga, DVDs, CDs, artbooks, etc collection and I decorate my space and some personal objects with anime/manga images in tasteful amounts. I go to anime related events. I also dabbled a bit into writing fanfics and creating fanarts in the past and I want to get back to it.

I express my love by continuing to consume the media since I started. By keeping a pinterest account with fanart's that I also add myself, from different sources. By talking about characters and speaking about my love for Husbando's if someone is willing to listen [or not]. I listen to anime music, I watch anime content, I play "anime" games and I speak to my friends about anime, even if they don't watch the medium themselves. [by either sending them 3 shows a week with caption "I'm watching this now" or calling them "now I'm gonna tell you about this series I'm watching" or sending them a gif with random hot guy nr.3453890 with a "hear me out" caption everytime or "he can do me" variationsXD]

I also read fanfick's, use character.AI, I have a nice manga collection and some JJBA keychains - I also have a tattoo from Kuroshitsuji on my left-hand [the pentagram] and ngl I often forget that it's a reference XD.
