I've been watching since 2018, but I don't have much to show for it (granted I did take a break for like a year or so). I also tend to watch a show or two every few months and then watch nothing at all for a while. But I want to change that.
This feels like the type of thread I would make, lmao.
Well, in order to help you, I'll need to know some more information: What do you usually watch, seasonals or already finished anime?
If those are seasonals, just intersperse them with already finished anime, and try to also join groups where people are talking about the seasonals you're watching (Be it Episode Discussion threads here on MAL, Reddit, /a/, etc)
For non-seasonals, just link them with some sort of objective, such as "I want to write about this one", "I want to know more about this genre", etc.
You dont need to watch anime to show off your list. Just watch whatever you enjoy and whenever you enjoy. Maybe find a specific genre or style that you prefer and watch those anime or maybe start reading some manga.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.
is it a free time issue, or you just can't find anything to watch? I'd take recommendations if its the latter (don't forget to look at the synopsis to see if its something you'd actually enjoy)
Anime is hardly even worth watching. To begin with. It is all the same stuff. Over and over again.
@DesuMaiden Anime was a mistake, expect for like 15 or so of them. Don't know how people watch the same repetetive school anime with the same exact cookie cutter characters for years. I'm half joking but yeah.
Sometimes I have the same problem and I just search animes and make plan to watch list of those shows that I'm genuinly interested to watch. Because if you watch shows you dont like it quickly gets boring.
